We are looking for a junior Game Artist to join us on one of our live games. In this team you’ll get to work on a wide variety of tasks from concepts to final assets, and breathe life into them with animation and motion design.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Lead Artist/Director
- Maintain quality and consistency across your work to meet objectives, quality bar, and schedule.
- Implement game features with other developers in the team
- Optimize the games to run smoothly on mobile platforms
- Participate in prototyping new game features
- Model, render and animate new core game elements
- Pose characters, and model 3D low-poly environments and props
- Hand-Painted texturing
- Create UI layouts in Unity, following the existing UI style
- Animate 2D asset using Spine or Unity
Who we think will do great in this role:
- Expertise with Photoshop and/or Illustrator, including a well-developed sense of color and composition
- Expertise in at least one 3D modelling package
- Ability to create UV maps and textures
- Strong conceptualization ability, visual communication ability, and drawing skills
- Ability to create both inspiring concepts as well as final game assets
- Great interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with other team members
- A positive collaborative and professional working attitude is a must
- Prior experience working on Unity game projects is a bonus
- 1+ years of relevant experience is a bonus
- Working remotely is an option
- English or Italian skills
